link to rebuilding center differential 93 SS automatic.
I had the infamous torque binding of the rear wheels, so it was time to tear into it.

total cost for replacement parts: approx 75 dollars.
includes:
seal transfer piston 33283AA000
seal lathe ring 31363AA010
seal 31363AA030
gasket for transfer case 31337AA120
friction plates-6 of them, which subaru no longer carries, used MAKO: http://www.bulkpart.com/Merchant2/merch ... ode=23118A
This is a job that requires some good knowledge of transmissions and would not recommend for the weekend shade tree mechanic.
The parts price aren't bad at all, but the labor is going to kill anyone on doing this job. Thanks to my dad (former 41 years GM mechanic)
