AIM Triton V1.0.3

AIM blows!, I have a cable modem and my aim will not run for more than a few minutes without logging me off. It was doing this with my old version of aim and I upgraded to this retarded triton crap version which is the latest and greatest and it still fucks up. Any of you seen this? I searched google and only found that other people experience this also. Any computer geeks out there know how to fix this?

Trillian costs money and isn't open source. GAIM on the other hand is open source and doesn't cost money.

Installed gaim, looks slightly commodor 64 ish but at leaste it works.

I have triton on a dsl line (yahoo) and haven't had a problem yet. I love the one window-multi IMs feature. I just disabled pretty much everything but the main features.

Trillian Basic is free, and has all of the important features. Trillian Pro has some of the video stuff that the latest clients support, but no one uses.

huh, I use a decently recent version of AIM and Yahoo gives me more problems (aka, AIM doesn't give me any).
Maybe I'm lucky?
