a couple days ago i drove through a significant amount of slush.

then yesterday i noticed a clunking when shitfing to 3rd.

then later i hear an awefull rattling sound coming from under the car that is directly proportional to my speed and sounds like the transmission is full of gravel.

fortunately it was just ice but the whole drive home had me seeing dollar signs fly before my eyes in time w/the ticking under my car.

I hear ya, that happens every time it snows here and I go out drifting in empty parking lots. the wheels fill with snow and the next morning its all ice and you cant drive above 30mph without the car shaking uncontrolably. it eventualy melts though :)

Clear out the inside of the wheels with a brush.

not the cv driveshaft but the main driveshaft under the car.

during the drive home i was figuring out where to start looking for a replacement tranny.
