Ok. for those that dont know. I work graveyard at a chevron with a fully loaded snack& beer convenience store attatched. you know the type. automated pumps out front. Parking on either side of the building.

I constantly have people pull in. and park infront of the door. They will either park against the curb making everyone who enters or leaves skirt thier vehicle. or they will park in the middle of the through way making people comming in from the pumps skirt thier vehicle and preventing use of two sets of pumps.

I find this a remarkably irritating display of Selfish Self importance.

Normally I Ignore the matter as I work graveyard and seldom have more than a ferw customers anyways.

I have asked people to move 3 times when the store was busy and each one had a fit about it. last night being the worst.

I about had to write a thesis paper on why he should respect the other customers to get him to move.

Whats the hard part to understand?

Easily my favotire though was the guy that came in. Blocked the door. another guy came in and pulled in beind him and a third Parked sideways across two parking spaces with his tail hanging out blocking the guy from the front. He had to leave and freaked out when he found he was blocked in and started yelling at the other drivers. I found some stocking that needed doing and let matters settle themselves

put up a no parking sign, or if there is already one right there, make it visible.

That way next time this problem arises, all you have to do when things get heated is tell the customer you're calling the emergy-tow service (make sure there's a tow company next door) cause NONE of you shoulda been parked there! NYAH SEE!

I bet they move pretty damn quick then.

People are pretty thoughtless.
So if you work graveyard, ever get held up?
