Newb w/91 2WD looking for definite answer on wheels/struts

Hi,I have an 05 WRX and just picked up a 91 Legacy L 2WD 4eat sedan for a second car.I've searched on here about the 2wd/awd strut and wheel/tire rubbing issues.I'm thinking of swapping my stock WRX 16" wheels/tires onto the Legacy, but am afraid they will rub.The car also needs rear struts, and I'm looking at the KYB GR2s.If I use these, will they affect the rubbing issue in any way, good or bad? Should I stay with stock struts if I plan on swapping on wider wheels/tires? What about springs? I really wish it was AWD,but it was a gift from my uncle so I can't be picky!
Sorry if this is redundant, and I know a lot of people ask this kind of thing, but I couldn't find the exact answers about the strut thing.

The GR2's will be fine. You need to make sure and specify FWD, since AWD rear struts are different.
The WRX 16" wheels "should" work ok. If you rub it'd be on the inside between the tire and strut. But that's "if"

Thanks for the help. Are the 92-94 fwd rear struts different, though? I saw some on eBay,but the vendor says my 91 is different....? He quoted me a higher price, too.

Welcome to the boards. In the future, we'd all appreciate it if you would not double post the same question in two seperate forums.
Thanks!

Ok..but it wasn't exactly the same question.I didn't ask about the wheels in the other post.I'll be careful about that, though.

You said that you wish the car was AWD. Well, it's quite easy to swap from 2wd to AWD. You have to get another gearbox, diff and the axles.
Here in Holland I know a guy who rebuilds 2wd --> AWD
All the mounting points are allready at your car!
