I'm gathering parts for my EJ20G head swap and was wondering if anybody has OEM part numbers for gaskets and seals. I know the 14035 AA281 intake gasket will fit (Thanks again Jake), but I would like to find numbers for the...

Exhaust gasket?
"Thick" Head gasket (1.5mm?)
"Thin" Head gasket (0.5mm?)
Cam seals (same as USDM DOHC?)
Valve seals (again, same as US DOHC?)

What year USDM DOHC model would be the best match? I think the intake gasket number above lists for the '98 Forester?

You might need to be a little more specific about what EJ20g you have. They made them from 89-97 and used different heads. Although for the things you mentioned, I dont think it matters.

The exhaust gasket, cam seals and valve seals should be the same as the EJ22t. I know I used the 2 seals that came with the EJ22t kit on one of the 97 DOHC heads. Also the valve seals that came with The EJ22t kit Look Identical to the one in the Ej20g kit. BTW you can have a set of the valve seals for free if you want.

I would highly recomend buying this kit

I did, and it seem very nice. The head gaskets appear to be silicone coated or something. They charged me about 30 bucks for shipping. But $130 for that whole kit is well worth it.

That guy is listing the Legacy Turbo with the wrong engine. For shame.

No thats the right engine. Thats what almost everyone besides us(North America) got. Unless I misunderstood your comment.

Not sure on the year, how can I tell?

But if the valve cover gaskets are any indication this set looks closer to what I have.

What engines/years have the "thin" head gaskets?

The kit I bought lists 91-94 Legacy and 94-97 impreza, so it shouldnt matter much for this stuff. But....

If your heads have the mini-rocker HLAs its 89-93 Legacy "g". If it has no mini-rockers but instead, the cam derectly contacts upside down buckets over the valves, its a WRX "g". I believe the early WRX heads had the small buckets like the SVX and 96 outback.
Somebody please correct me if Im wrong.

As for the thin head gasket, I belive only the phase II had the thin HGs. This is because the pistons on the phase I protrude above the deck surface. Some say it can be done with Thin HGs, but I would do some precise clearance measurments before you bolt it all back together. To make sure the pistons wont hit the head.
