It's quite obvious from that picture, that had you been going 20 mph faster, you wouldn't have gotten stuck :P

That's some high snow there....

the problem is that I was going too fast and lost control, while doing a donut :P

solved the problem by hooking the jeep up and giving it a quick tug.

the snow, wasn't like snow.. it was tiny tiny tiny balls of ice

The old tiny balls of sand type snow, i know it well. Also balls of sand snow that was deeper than the clearence of the undercarrage contributed to this. I have been in the same situation. Exept my "jeep" was 6 buddies :)

I've had it stuck worse since this pic was taken!!

I've also noticed that it's in much worse shape now :( :( :(

only other time I've had it stuck than this was a month or so ago..

I went up to my dad's place, and some of his land was recently harvested of timber for logs to be sawed into lumber...

I took the lego out on some logging trails, and it was slippery ass mud everywhere.

came down a hill that had a slight tilt, and started sliding really fast, ended up high centered on a VERY large rock.

I was dumb enough to not bring a recovery vehicle or friends, so I ended up spending an hour and a half crawling around in the mud, using a scissor jack to jack up the front of the car, put some blocks under the tire, jack up the back of the car, put some blocks under the tire, and so on, until it was up off of the rock

WHEW. won't do that again (without someone to pull me out) ;)
