hey matt, i was told you might know a little about this set up on a car im going to buy...
its a 99 subaru gt dohc 2.5, needs headgaskets
what i want to do is put in an sti short block, run the dohc heads and for engine managment it has a apexi s-afc, its running a t-25 turbo currently with no intercooler but id put one on it. how can i make this car reliable? thanks

I thought about getting that and dropping in my ej22t.

yeah exept its not 2000 anymore, he raised it to 5000, then i worked him down

SAFC will only control fuel correct?

Your gonna need to pull timing if you turbo a high compression motor. Especially without an intercooler.
