Hey guys, I was thinking. Since most of the people that come to the F&S also come to the Shootout, should we go to an Auto-X or something instead of Beaver this year? It's just a thought. I ran it by Vikash a while back and he seemed to like the Auto-x idea.
LMK so I can start trying to hammer this out. I'm having trouble planning though because my baby daughter is due in May and I also am going to be in Wilkes/Scranton area for management training at some point and I'm not sure when yet. Makes it hard to plan a meet.
Please only vote if you're planning on coming or think it's at least a strong possibilty. Thanks.

I'd like to see what the Mazda could do. I'll have to see how busy I'll be with work. I never know until that day or week at best.

I would love to auto-x the leggy. The last time I auto-x'ed I was driving a 99 yota camry. So I imagine that I could do a little better this time.

I say make it a giant wrench meet. No definite plans but working on the Subies, they all need it.
Cook up a barbecue or grab some grub and hit up some nice roads at a medium pace. But I'd be down for an auto-x, too.

While I DO really enjoy auto-X, I don't know how she'd do with the tranny and the bit-o-lag.
I like running the straights though.
Either way, my motor wont be built by that time, so I'm flexible. If the motor was done, I'd prefer BSD.

I like Will's idea of a giant tune session.

Actually, come to think of it, BSD would be a lot of fun. I'd be able to make use of the burnout box!

I think the wrench session would be fun if we can find a space where we can have a whole bunch of cars torn apart at the same time... that might be tricky
I'm up for an autoX anytime. Phil - I don't think your gearing or lag would be too bad for autoX. I'm not into drag racing, but I'd still come up and do BSD just for the community.

It's POSSIBLE that I may be able to bring the wagon there, stock turbo FWD. Might be interesting to see what it'll run.

I think my gearing might actually help. Need to downshift to first? CLUNK! Done.
Ratios are kinda long too, which is pretty cool.

if you have to work in gravel just get some cardboard or a piece of old carpet, that's what I do
