ok guys/girls could do with some help. i have fitted a gfb reactor dual boost low boost set to 11psi but no mater how much i adjust the gfb i cant get high boost over 12.5psi i have no sudden cut out or detonation any ideas also what coolant should i use in the intercooler. spec = uk 95 ej20 vf8 turbo 38mm vent to atmo bov (new but cheap from ebay) rising rate fuel regulator, greddy cone filter water charged intercooler running 97 ron fuel, i have an fcd but havent fitted it yet as i understand fuel cut comes in at 17psi i dont know how much it would have boosted before i fitted the dual boost cant here signs of wastegate flutter. a thought i had was that i was using the factory bov before but still got the whoosh, could it be that there is another bov fitted somewhere else (ie near intercooler) have had a quick look but cant see one where could it be if there is one and surely it would allow me over 12.5psi. help! :(

Maybe your cheap-from-eBay blowoff valve is leaking boost?

You could try just capping the blowoff valve off and going for one very careful run where you gingerly operate the throttle without rapid movements.

^good idea. And love the new Icon vrg3!!
Just be VERY careful with the throttle. I'm assuming you have a boost gague, as you can see how much you're boosting. Maybe the boost gague is reading wrong aswell?

I didn't pick it; nor do I particularly like it.
