The first one is in the parking lot of one of the buildings in the U of U business park; the second one is on Emigration Canyon Rd. (what Sunnyside turns into) a bit before it joins up with I-80 in the mountains.

hmm. theres a building that looks just like that on wasatch. and the view looked about right too. i used to be in research park alot, but not business park. now i just hang out over by union (lnco) and phsycholgy.
