Here's what I've been up too for the past few months or so...all digital paintings, the colored ones that is.

In the car world, I have zero cash to spend on her, but at least she's running just fine, still intercooled running around 10 PSI, 11 on a cold day .

My computer has been getting the most attentiong latley, I just overclocked my video card in efforts to get Oblivion to run a little better (my card was not designed for games, but proffesional 3D stuff and what not). But now its time for upgrading (damn you technology and your cool new stuff that is oh so pricey). Anyway, trying to scrape together enough cash for a second monitor 19 or 20 inch widescreen, Nvidia's new GeForce 7800 GS, and external hard drive (have to render out a bunch of uncompressed stuff for my demo reel, bleh). Not to mention that I'll need some software that isn't version 2.Yaarrgh ;-)

I'll either have to work more or just freelance my ass off.

Damn, I just wouldn't have the patience at my age to try and do the digital stuff.

I should pick up a pencil and get back to sketching, though. . . used to do A LOT of that back in the day.

That's very impressive, very. My mom was a freelance graphic artist and did some large jobs so I'm used to seeing some good digital work but that is really nice. Keep up the good work :).

Thanks guys! a lot of em take at least 20+ hours, depends on the detail.

Doing digital painting is actually really intuitive with a wacom tablet, If I had a crap load of money i'd buy one of those monitors that lets you "draw/paint" right on it.

This next quarter ive got to go back to the crazy world of 3D, the only thing that sucks about being in the realm of digital art is trying to keep up with the technology. I don't even know how to use normal mapping and all those nifty new realtime shaders used in the latest video games yet. At least a good old pencil, brush, and paper doesn't need upgrading .
