WTB: 5 speed transmisson AWD

I'd like to buy a good condition 5 speed transmission, preferably with a 3.90 final ratio. A 5MT with a 4.11 might be ok if I can find a 4.11 LSD to go with it.
I plan on using it with a '91 turbo Legacy, so hydralic clutch type would be better than cable.
The original trans from the car has a very busted 2nd gear, and another used trans will be cheaper than a new gearset.
Anywhere in the Pacific NW would be best, so I could pick it up in person.

Have a 3:90 Tranny in addition to a 4:11..
$450 Shipped on the 3:90, $550 on the 4:11. Don't think I have a 4:11 diff to match though..

Did you blow your old one or are you coverting to 5mt. if you did blow it, i might be interested in buying it from you.

Our very own BAC5.2 has a shop builds the best Subaru transmissions around using PPG gears (you can get normal synchro'd or dogged). It's not in the PNW, but they can probably ship. Drop him a PM.

One of the previous owners blew it, I had nothing to do with it.
2nd gear is messed up, other stuff looks fine. I will get pics online once the new THAWA gallery registration goes through.
I'm open to selling it.

I am aware. That's an interesting option, and probably something I'll pursue in the future. A special build or new gearset is out of the question until funding allows.

BTW franticfour has a jdm 4.11 for $599.

No they don't, that very tranny is in my SS now

I have two or three for sale too. All close ratio 4:11 JDM WRX style units. $500 each.
These were spares for my rally car but i just bought a couple RA units and don't need these now.

Sorry to hear that man, is the engine, LSD, ECU, all other parts still good?

The LSD appears good. I won't be sure about the rest until I get the replacement trans in and fire it up.
The project has been really slow due to having to share my garage.
