Its happened again....

Hi all, It happened to me again..

For long story short, I had my 2nd JDM EJ20G engine installed almost half years ago and now the engine oil in the coolant system again( the reason I put the 2nd engine in because the engine oil in the coolant system). I checked the coolant all turn brown and oil seems less in the engine. I don't have blue smoke from the back and don't seems any power loss and boost is as good as normal.

Now the shop told me it maybe the head gasket is gone.

Since its my 2nd EJ20G engine and I don't wanna get another engine eventhough I could find a cheap EJ22T in town.

My decision will be:
1) Replace the headgasket
2) Replace the Metal Head gasket (where can I get and parts#)
3) Rebuild the EJ20G
4) Get the old EJ22T and rebuild it.

Guys could you tell me which will be the cheap and best way to do since I love this car and can't afford to buy another car at this moment.

Thanks for all suggestion.

Ben (1 bad luck Legacy turbo owner) :(

I'd just replace the headgasket yourself.

Thanks NuwanD. We should have a meet soon since haven't see you and the other legacy guys long time ago. Missing you guys!

Hi Bmxpunk... hopfully you don't have to suffer the same problem as I had.

Does anyone knows about which head gasket I should take and also, whats the thickness that I should use on this engine!

Thanks for your reply!
