whenever i get a nev vehicle i take some time to explore the interion to find good places to hide "valuables" from theives and police. my old toyota paseo had the best one ever, you could pop out the clock in the dash and there is a cavernous hole behind it, my subie on the other hand has no good spost besides the little panel you can pop off next to the e-brake, do you guys know of any that i am unaware of? i am sick of using the utility storage center in the trunk

my xt6 had a little panel that screwed in under the e-brake handle... had to pull the ebrake all the way up to get it out.... made a good storage spot for your... "stuff" ;)

That pocket with a door on it below the radio. I throw my XM receiver in there.

Also, below that there's a whole cavernous area that goes way back under the dash. If I hide something there, sometimes I drop a hat there (in front of the stick shift) to block the view in an innocent-looking way.

You can tell I go into stealth mode when I park in Baltimore city every day.

Where there was a little cubby deal below the steering wheel on the left, in the '90 I had, my '93 just has a cover there that can be popped off with a knife. The cup holder in the dash slides out with little spots like a small tackle box, good for something like a, ahem, celophane.
