I hit the 100,000 mile mark on my touring wagon today. I bought it new on 8/29/95 as a leftover with 1156mi., so I guess I have 1156 miles to I hit "my" 100K mark. But it still seems like a big milestone. :D

That's a really cool milestone! Great that your an original owner too!

I'm actually kind of excited to be in that situation myself. Buying a car new and rolling it over 100,000 miles. That'd be awesome.

Saddly, I don't know that cars these days will hold up to 100,000 miles of use and still come out as pretty as my Legacy has.

I bought the Forester with 136,000 in October, registered it in November. I now have 147,300 miles, or thereabouts. I'll see to it that this car breaks the 200,000 mile mark.

That's very cool that you are the original owner. Congratulations.

ac30treb is the original owner of his 99 Outback Sport and is approaching 200k!

Thanks, it's the first (and only) new car I've ever bought. Other than the typical Subaru annoying problems (some small rust spots, oil leaks, damn moonroof leaks) it has been a good, reliable car. I don't need a new car, but sometimes I get the itch. Unfortunately, it's cheaper to keep paying for 93 octane than to pay for a new car so I will keep it for as long as I can and live with 18-19mpg.

Is your NSX as low mileage as your TW?

I don't give a rat's ass what anyone says, NSX's are some of the sexiest cars ever made, or at least to come out of Japan. The ones with the popup lights anyway.

The NSX has about 25,700 mi. I will have had it 1 year tomorrow. I'm the 4th owner. It is my baby.

Cool!

NSX's only look good, if they are clean.

I saw a black one yesterday. It was dirty. I told the salesman (test driving the new GTi), wow, I didn't know the NSX was so ugly when it's dirty.

When they are clean, definately one of the best looking cars to come from the land of the rising sun.
