inside rear tire hoppin' and squealin' on rt. turns

when i make hard right turns the rear inside (right rear) tire squeals very easily and i get what can best be described as wheel hop.

this does not happen when i turn left

that right rear strut is totally blown and covered in oil. i am assuming that is the problem.

however, the rear most lateral link on that side is bent where the sway bar endlink attatches.

the car drives straight and the wheel appears to be properly alligned.

cant believe i didnt phrase this one better.

the strut is the problm isnt it?

if it were the diffs i would assume it would happen in both directions.

How is the lateral link bent? That could be the problem.

it is bent up a little right where the swaybar mounts.

the thing is that i am pretty sure it has been bent for a while and i just noticed this happening this spring. and there has been no unusual wear on the tires.

the car has a recertified salvage title becuase the first owner put it into a ditch that had some water in it and his ins. company writes off anything that touches anything bigger than a deep puddle.

well,

i decided i better check my tire pressures.

turns out they were all around 26.5 psi.

bumped them up to 33/32 f/r.

that seems to have cured the problem.

i think the combination of a blown strut and low tire pressure were the problem.

i am going to get my alignment checked next week.

well last night it was a bit wet out and now that its dry and i have a bit more traction it still happens but not as bad as it was w/the low tire pressures.
