greg, the SVX panasonic CD player will not work w/the clarion head unit in the 94 legacy SS.

the SVX unit has a 2 pin connector while the legacy unit has a 4 pin connector.

too bad i didnt know that before i pulled my dash apart the other day.

I was using a SVX CD player in my Legacy while I still had it. It will work with the Panasonic 1.5 DIN head unit, but not with the Clarion AM/FM only unit. Interestingly, I believe that the CD player used in 95-99 Legacies is the same as the SVX unit.

wont work w/the clarion head w/a tape deck unit in the 94 SS either. the clarions must all use the 2 pin connector.

and i think you are right about the cd player in the SVX and the 95-99 legacies.
