Does Subaru have a technical advisory site 
Need to confirm some recollections about the 4eat.
On WOT at low speeds as, in first and second, the tcu transfers 70 % of the torque to the rear wheels.
Then the other part of this is that when engine braking in these gears, the tcu then sends 70 % to the fronts.
