Oil leak over by the turbo area.

I have a feeling the leak is coming from the rear cap assembly of the passanger side head. It's in that general area though. The leak looks like its either that or the return line. When I rebuilt this motor, I recieved a gasket set and had to pretty much guess which gaskets went where. Anyway, has this spot leaked for anyone else and did you just order a factory gasket + rtv?

Rear cam seal...
It's basically just an O-ring...and very easy to replace, just a pain 'cause the uppipe has to be removed...
DON'T USE RTV on it!

Oh, I see, I tought I put a new one on there, but perhaps its the wrong size.
ALSO, since I had to assemble the head, it's possible the oil return line is the issue. The reason of concern is when I installed the hardline back into the head. It looked like they just popped the hard line out during the rebuild, with no sign of a gasket. Feeling uncertain, I put rtv around the hardline. Is there a specific type of gasket for this?
Thanks for the help~

that rear "cam seal" is just an o-ring that gets pinched into place. its not gonna be circular anymore when you go to take it off. i didnt even realize it was a seal until i was leaking oil there and really checked it out. it could also be the little orange(?) o-rings for the high pressure coolant/oil turbo feeds. did you replace those?
i had also bought a gasket set and didnt know where all the gaskets went either. hahah...
EDIT: Here ya go.

OMG! Are you serious?! I totally didn't realize that those 2 little orange o-ring seals were there until you pointed it out and I rechecked the diagram! I wouldn't have guessed they were neccisary to prevent leakage since they go at the bottom of the plate...but I guess so. #(*$&#(*&@
Thanks, I guess I'll buy a new gasket anyway just in case.

Anyone have a quick link to the diagram of the rear cam seal assembly. The chiltons is worthless and has nothing about it. Thanks
