06 legacy gt sedan suspension in my 93 legacy wgn?

just wondering if some 2006 legacy suspension would work in my 93 legacy wagon? could i use my perches if the springs are different? i am running factory suspension and was told that i need to replace it.

nope, the rear suspenion is totally different between the two.
the 06 has a very small comapct multilink setup.

Starting in 2000, the Legacy uses a multilink rear suspension. The Impreza is likely going to this setup in its next big revision as well.

Yup, the descriptions I've seen for that are "a shortened wheelbase version of the new Legacy chassis".

That is exactly what the original Impreza chassis was...
