I saw on nabisco about a week ago and saw pictures of the newer legacies and it had a double L badge on the front. I can't find the stupid thread now, I was wondering if anyone on here knew about it(I'm assuming its a dealer only thing to buy) but if it would fit on our stock grill to replace the subaru star design.

Not enough time to work on a custom grill, but want a different badge on it.

That's a JDM badging. Goes back to like 93.

Unless you have a 95+ USDM car, and are going to build a custom grille, it won't fit. Remember, 93 was the year that the JDM models went to BD/BG.

eBay and NASIOC Legacy forum are good places to see them. I have one on my BE, it's pretty cool, but definitely wouldn't fit properly in the stock grille, which is why the whole grille is needed.

Most of the BD and later cars in New Zealand have the "lightening bolt" grille (as I call it)

I haven't ever seen a BC/BF down there with the Fuji grille though

Check www.legacygt.com search for "L7" There is a vendor that makes vinyl overlays for the emblem.

the one I saw was oval shaped and fit on the newer legacy GTs, but thanks for the info!

no, i actually found it on that website, they make vinyl overlays that fit on 05 and 06 legacies, i'm just not sure if the size of the badging is the same size as on our cars
