just a curious question, didn't mean any harm.

just wondering how many people on the board were in the repair industry and whether or not they do any off the wall stuff.

that's all

care to share how it worked out and went in?

130 hp in a car that originally only had 90 is very desirable.

okay, got a 95 legacy ls parts car pretty cheap, had been hit in the nose.
found out it was too difficult to wire the obd2 stuff in so went to wrecking yard and got a 91 legacy intake and COMPLETE wiring harness.

got an EJ to EA adapter plate(using awd EA82 tranny) from 88hatchmonster on the USMB.

hacked the unneccassary crap out of the harness and put a new inline electric fuel pump on with higher psi and flow.

can't really do pics on the message boards(am semi-computer stupid), but if you give me an e-mail address i can send them that way.

it's not real pretty, but IT'S ALIVE

congrats 86ruguy, must feel good to have a nice engine in the ea82. is it fast? how much do those weigh?

scooby, have you made a post anywhere about the brat you are building?
I want to do roughly the same thing, but probably with a hatch. what axles and suspension are you using?

206er.....i have to say that compared to what it was, it is STUPID FAST.

half throttle in second gear i am already doing like 40ish.

i want to fill the tank and drive from here to where ever just so i can really get a feel for it.

so far though it is really fun to drive

I love these swaps. I'd love to swap all my SS parts over to an XT6, or a brat. I even decided to do it not long ago, but I couldn't find a suitable doner chassis.

I'm in the automotive industry, too. I'm the head (read:only  ) installer at the only car audio shop in town.

I wouldnt really consider an XT6 for an engine swap 1. because they are ugly as sin and 2. the ER27 is one cool motor.
