Well first I had an extra down pipe flange laying around, cut the existing pipe to about 1/4" -1/2" just so there is a little nub on the flange. Next, got some 3" exhaust pipe I had some lying around or use Summits 3" U bend for about 24$ cut to the right angle I used a about a 45 degree and it worked great. Next buy an o2 bung for 4$ and they are all the same size 18mil. Next get everything welded up at your local muffler shop, they’ll do it free or charge you next to nothing, and make sure you have everything lined up for them and the hole drilled for the o2 bun. Finally grind the stock 2" hole in the down pipe flange as much as you have patience for. Bolt it back and enjoy a pure raw oh so beautiful BOXER ROAR

That is so ghetto.

But awesome.

Pic of it off the car?

Why did you leave a nub on the flange, out of curiousity?

I left the nub on due to that being the only way to weld the pipe on. There was no way that I could acuratly get a 3" hole in the flange I would have to move the hole to the driver side 2-3 inches then figure out a way to plug the old hole . It was just easier to do it this way, and I will show you tommorw when I get a chance to take the down pipe off.
