KYB Excel-G vs KYB GR2, what's the difference?

Are they the same stuff (just different names for different markets) or totally different? Couldn't find GR2 on KYB Aus Catalog and vice versa. Any idea?

PS: Excel-G was previously called Super-G which is basically a monotube non-adjustable nitrogen gas shock from KYB.

Never heard of an excel-g strut.

I believe kyb does have a lower end shock below the GR2. I've got a non-gr2 shock on my nissan pickup. They work fine.

They're different. KYB has tons of different struts for markets aside from the US, so we don't see stuff like that. We only have three struts, one is a stock replacement as is on Josh's truck, one is a very slightly stiffer replacement (GR-2), and one is an adjustable (AGX). Well there are a few more, but none of the crazy ones you guys get.

It's pretty much the same story here. The stockl replacement one's an oil shock and excel-G's somewhat better than that then it's the AGXs......That's why I've got such a question......
