Noob question about stock injectors

I got some stock 370cc injectors with fuel rail for my ej22t swap. But for some reason I thought there was sort of a solid metal washer or ring that goes between each injector and where it gets installed in the intake manifold/head. Hopefully I'm wrong and the only thing needed is the rubber O-ring.

Also I tried removing one from the rail to inspect and it did not want to come off from the rail. Is this normal? I didn't want to apply force and damage them...

There is a rubber washer between the injector and manifold.

On some models there are metal washers between the fuel rail mount and the intake manifold. Some did not have these.

The injectors can be a real pain to get out. Try a combination twisting and pulling motion.

Thank you. They really are stuck in there though. I'll give it a try tonight. Hopefully I don't have to worry about these metal washers because I do not have them if I need them. But I do have the rubber O-ring that goes between the injector and the manifold.
