So yeah, tomorrow afternoon I'm going down to look at a 94' Wagon GT - Sold. The salesman said it runs strong and doesn't smoke, no CELs. Says the tranny is in good shape as well. The tires are good, AC works, has NC inspection. There is a little bit of rust bubbling the paint on the drivers rear fender. The interior though is superb and supposedly previously owned by a subaru guy, he traded it in for another subaru. They're asking $2,988

So what should I be looking for? I'll check all the CV boots, the steering rack boots, feel for slop, and kick the tires. I'll verify that the vents work and the heater as well. All the lights and horn.

Are there any other particular things you all would suggest checking as well?

Thanks.

Who cares what's wrong with it? It's a GT, a true, honest BF!

Pretty sure that car is sold :-/

I would call before going to look, just as a precaution

Nick, if you or your friend got it, I'm glad it went to a good home. It deserved it :).

Tomorrow I'm picking up my new 96' Legacy Outback, put a 100 down on it. I'll post pictures and details tomorrow. It's nice, real nice. 140k of pristine miles, 5sp, tinted windows, white, $4,200

And I'm still hanging around the BBS because as soon as I get out of school it's time for my dream BC, so like in 8 months :).

So it's been a good day.
