subaru has always had tiny little cars and micro vans.
look up the Sambar and the Pleo.

Most of the small cars, like the Justy we had here, are made by other companies, like Suzuki.

All these cars are actually built by Subaru. Even the older Justy that we got here in the States was an actual Subaru. Only the later European Justy and Justy G3X are built by Suzuki.

There's a nice Subaru 360 locally. Those are the smallest Subarus I've come across, and the second smallest car by any maker I've seen running on the road (the BMW Isetta being the smallest). Did Fuji Heavy Ind. build those themselves? Anybody know? Just as trivia, the Isetta wasn't designed or built originally by BMW, but by an Italian refrigerator company after WWII when more of the European population was getting enough money to move up from the scooters.
