Damage protection. Also, if glass gets broken, it's less likely to get all over the place being taped.

These additions look homemade. Find out anything about them?

that car is usualy wingless and only sports the wing for competition. the trunk lid is actualy a lid off of an OZ lancer rally edtition. its owned by seth of broken ipods (obviously) sports a gt35r with a .60 compressor cover strangely enough. and is currently 150+ lbs lighter than it was last year with about the same amount more horsepower than last year. more on that in a min.
the wing is a bit home made. but only the posts. the wing itself is a modified apr wing iirc.
the front splitter is a bit home made but the splitter as well only is on for compettition. its bascily a poorly cut piece of carbon bolted to the front for downforce.
as for my coment about last year well if any of you suscribe to superstreet or saw the post on nasico about the element tunning bugeye that went to primedia's time attack last year you would have seen this car before the stickers.
it was the only car that stood a chance at taking down GM's over funded team at last years time attack finals when it ran into broken boost control issues. as a quote from the team. "gm doesnt stand a chance this year"
results from last years race here

Well most if not all of the guys who taped up the headlights have plastic headlights.....that's why I was questioning myself....it just didn't make sense....but whatever

Yeah, but if it's taped, it's less likely to need replacement at the end of the day.

Come on guys...not even the 2.5RS's could pass me, only the STi's when I waived 'em buy on the straight-aways
