I know of a 95 impreza 4dr front wheel drive automatic and they want 600 for it. Should I go with this or not. I am debating whether it would be a waste of time just to go look at it 50 miles away. It runs, drives, clean title, i found that out on the phone today. Its purplish>i guess.
does anyone think it would be a possibel flip car, maybe put on my extra SS wheels, detail, and make some $$$ on a sale of it.

it would be a great car to do a swap into.
600 is a good price if the body is straight and rust free.

Ha ha. Another Barney-mobile. There's a Colorado local who owns that exact same car and paid about a grand more for it. He's doing a complete Ej205 WRX swap in it, with 5spd tranny. That would be a great car for a swap or to flip. If you want to drive it out to Colorado, I imagine you could get $1500 for it on Pirates...

why? the basic shell is exactly the same.
i am torn between swapping out to a different shell myself because of the rust. do i want ot do rust repair or mechanical work? i am leaning towards mechanical work since i have never worked w/a welder before or shaped metal for bodywork.

yeah I'm well aware they are the same shell.
why start out with a car that is missing a lot of the parts you need when there are 2dr, awd 5sp cars out there for cheap if you look hard enough/wait long enough?
unless you are doing the sort of build where you want to take it to the shell, the extra work and parts scavenging of an awd swap and a 5mt swap wouldnt be worth it to me.
are the GC and BC rear suspension identical as with the front? ie subframe, lateral links trailing links etc all the same?

i
think so, the fuel tank may be different and you would need a custom driveshaft. since we can use impreza struts and lateral links on legacies i would imagine it is all the same underneath.
