Yep, new one only took about two months to get bent. I didn't hit anything either. What causes this? The wind?

You need to add an option for those that don't run front plates.

Legacy = boring car that cops don't mess with. I haven't run a front plate on any of my three Legacies, and it's never come up, even the one or two times I've been pulled over.

A bent front plate is like an official break-in on a Subaru.
Mine was bent back, then I accidently added a dent from a rock at a rally. It adds character.

I got yelled at by a cop when I did have the plate there since he didn't like how low it was. I told him to take it up with the DOT and Subaru of America. I bent mine several times hitting heavy balls of snow left by plows on the highway.

I have no idea how mine was bent.
I now have mine in the winshield. No shit from cops, but I rarely drive the car anymore

Then again, states like Utah and California are a lot less strict than states like Maryland about front plates. Half the cars here don't have front plates, but I guarantee if I took mine off and drove back to Maryland, I'd get a ticket for it within a week.
But yeah, mine's bent... and the black paint on the characters is chipped too. But the plate is as old as I am.

mine's bent
couldn't possibly tell you why, but chances are it was some type of snowbank I hit, as I did plow through one a few times when these people decided to plow a snowbank right into the dirt road I rip up all the time that comes out right by their driveway
could also have been my friend's mazda pickup when I pushed him up a hill in the woods after he got stuck...
curbs
dirt
stumps
who knows?
I thought about ditching the plate but I don't need any added attention from the popo...

mine is bent and held with several zip ties. there are no brackets anywhere on the bumper to mount one, and i dont feel like drilling into the bumper.

My plate shouldn't be bent, it's one of those light up Japanese styles... I'm getting "vanity plates" to match the four numbers on it, so it'll be as legal as possible...
On my other car, the plates were fine until someone did a joyride in it and it came back with grass and mud stuffed in the bumpers. Front plate was ripped away, the rear was bent a lot... Didn't affect the car mechanically though haha, loosers couldn't kill it...

are you kidding. too many ways to bend the plate back. in ny you better have a front plate and seat belts on if you do not wish to be stiopped. like the plowing of snow banks, passing the plow when he's going to slow. drifting on dirt roads. best one coming around a dirt road and finding people in the center of the road talking? but yea all of my 4 SS's had/have bend plates
