I think I'd like the scooter, though I suppose the extra non-VW engine would come in handy when the stock one quits working in the beetle.

Well, to each their own. Whatever floats your boat. Could've been worse. Like whale fins on an a new Cadillac for example. Or an AWACS-style dome on a hippy van. Or pimpstar wheels on a VW Fox.

You mod an *old* Legacy (so do I, so don't sweat it, I'm just making a point). I would think you'd have a little more respect for creative projects. Yes, considering, he could be yet another rich asshole driving a Mazerati or Porsche, but instead he bought an inexpensive vehicle and made something unique. I fail to see where he's being such a tool.
