Why is this posting named "PDX anyone?"

PDX being Portland,Oregon.

btw-anyone in or near Portland, OR interested in Rally classes for less than half that other classes price AND for 3 days worth of training.... go to get-primitive.com and see when they are hosting their next school.

I went to one earlier this year and LOVED it.
At the end I was able to place 30th overall out of 69 other competitors (mostly veteran drivers) I know that may not sound all that great but I'd never done ANY sort of rally driving before.

Do it, you will be so much of a better driver, there is no question of whether you should do it or not (it doesn't matter if anyone else shows up). And I'm not ripping against you, anyone who has never had on-track instruction is missing out.

Ripping against me? Hah!

I believe you 100%, there is no way I am nearly as good of a driver as I think I am.

I don't have a helmet though and I don't see anything on the site about rentals or loaners. Most motorcycle helmets are Snell M-95 right?

As long as you drive accordingly, you'll be fine. ;)

Typically, unless its your grandpa's riding helmet from the late 70's, lol. See if there is a phone number to call about the helmets, for that kind of price they better have loaner helmets.

yeah unfortunately my Dad had surgery today and it looks like they're keeping him until Friday, so I'm going to be staying around this weekend to help him out

but for future reference it looks like the Philly SCCA has stuff like this regularly so that link might be useful
