will the springs and struts off a 2000 rs fit onto a 92 legacy?
4 KYB AGX struts with 4 intrax springs. He used them for roughly 8000km. They were on a 2000 impreza RS coupe. There is a tad of rust on the springs (common). Spring Notes: Front - 1.8", Rear - 1.5". Reason for selling is he sold his car. Otherwise struts are in great shape. He was very happy with this setup. Price $600. Pm.

same thing, same part number, your set.
you want to double check just go online and search "kyb agx part number" and look at the part numbers. 92-94 legacys w/o airsuspension are the exact same part# as 93-01 imprezas.

dont know much about intrax but i love my agx's. They should work fine if they are going on a sedan... i would be a little worried about it though if your going to be putting them on a wagon as most aftermarket impreza springs rears usually arent much of an upgrade for wagon rears because they have a pretty high rate already

iirc intrax has the oem spring rates and lowers the car. Prolly not any more than a visual improvement.
boy those things are tatty!

do you know how much lower it will make the car?
and they have the same spring rate at the legacy or the impreza?

if they are made for an impreza then prob are impreza spring rate.... i mean agx's do have the warrenty and replacement policy; i still think 600 might be a bit high 8k and stock spring rate.... i imagine you'll get about 1.5 average all the way around in terms of drop. either way your car is going to handle way better and if you want to, down the road, its not hard to replace springs with some stiffer ones for a little more aggressive driving it just comes down to what you want/do with the car.
Id do some more shopping around though. You can prob pick up a set of agx's and a set of impreza lowering springs that have a little more umph for around 600 all together on NASIOC or ebay has the agx's new for around 400 from time to time.

ya 600 might be a little high but it does not seem to unreasonable. they are in my town so i will not have to pay shipping and im going to offer him a little less and see what he says.
legacy turbo S................132..........0"...............132...........0"
impreza 2.5 RS S............157..........1".............. 149...........1"
thats from the suspention sticky about springs
so there for if those springs have the stock impreza rates it will be a bit stiffer and also lower the car a bit which is exactly what i want.

if the price includes the entire assembly 600 isnt too bad of a price. assuming you can get all the suspension bolts off your car easily that will be a pretty easy and fast swap since you wont have to deal w/a spring compressor.
new struts are about 400, new springs are usually around 250-300, and new top hats would be around 200 ( i think), so 600 isnt too out of line.
