You should have titled this "Orange BBS" and you'd plenty eyeballs! I really like it! Tell us about how you thought of doing this, if you did it yourself, where you got it done? Stuff like that...

Well they were on my dads sti. And he got some new wheels and he gave me those. I think they were done at american powder coating. I really thought they would really make my car stand out from the rest so i decided to toss them on the turbo lego.

Oh, and I thought these rims didnt' work quite right with the BC chassis? Did you have to roll the fenders - touching the struts?...

Orange on white looks great! What have you done to the suspension? Your car's got a different stance to it than mine.

04 Sti Suspension with tenabe lowering springs. No they arn't rubbing. I didn't roll the fenders.

That works surprisingly well....

Disturbingly well......

Is that the stock tire size?

Just wondering, because I was planning on something similar eventually (though maybe not orange....)

Yes those are 225/45/17

Also, how did you fit the STI suspension?

Did you use different top hats, or the stock Legacy or STI pieces?

The whole STI assembly worked for the front. On the rear all they did was use the stock Turbo Lego top hats.

I also put a sti rear sway bar on my car. I used the stock c shaped turbo lego endlinks. And the stock legacy mounts.

So you don't rub at all with a 225/45/17?

Hmmm, might have to find me a set of stock STi wheels then... I rub a bit with my 17's.

By the way, the orange looks AWESOME! I can't believe I just said that...

Those look really good with the white. Kind of like a Carrera RS with red on white.

Nice to see something a little different.

Actually i noticed rubbing for the first time only in the rear odly. When i went around a corner and their was a bump in the middle of it. It rubbed. So i rolled the lip in on the rear fender.

And no rubbing!!! 8)

Thank You. The ride is really good. It handels really good especially because the much better traction given by the yokohamas compared to the stock wrx re92's. Im gonna install the sti front sway bar on next weekend.

The orange really doesn't work for me. Sorry.

The wheels' design is nice on the car though, but I'd much rather go with gold :)
