Looking for a replacment CV shaft, front drivers side, for a 93 turbo awd. Depending on the condition/price i may be looking to pickup the passanger side aswell. Let me know if you can help me out.
Ive heard N/A shafts are the same size just beefier so if thats the case ill take either. Would there be any problem with using just 1 N/A shaft or should i pair them up?
Thanks,
Kent

N/A shafts and turbo shafts are different..The inners can be interchangeable, but the outers aren't due to different hub/ spindle assys.

Each model Turbo or N/A also have different shafts for Auto, 5 speed, and FWD.. so it's rather easy to get the wrong one.

Is your car a 5 speed or auto?

the lengths are same for all: turbo, NA, AWD, FWD.
so they all will work.

ahhh ok well in that case i need a drivers side (possibly passanger too if the price is right) shaft for a 93 Turbo AWD 5MT. PM me what your looking for if you can help me out.
Thanks for the replies and helpfull input on different spline count. Anyone know off hand the spline count in the above car so i can be sure i get the right ones?

Splinter: So your saying that you swapped your auto to a 5MT and used the existing shafts? If im reading this right that would be the only way you could do it without doing hubs if the outside splines are different. In which case do you have the 5MT AWD shafts laying around?

For all first-generation Legacies, the splines are the same.

Well there it is. Are there any differences between N/A, Turbo and Auto, 5MT shafts that i need to be aware of or will they all interchange no problem?

I didnt have to change any part of the axle

It bolted up exactly the same.

I agree, they are all the same, even rights are the same as lefts, the n/a's are the same as turbo's. Only the FWD's are thicker but they all bolt right up.
