Congrats - I have no idea what that exam even entails, when I graduated from UCF's computer engineering program I heard something about it but never pursued it. I was just happy to be done...

That is truly awesome Josh!
When I was in engineering school I heard of the horrors of the PE exam, and the fact that you passed it is very commendable!

awesome congratulations.
Something I have to look forward to in a few years. I should probably graduate and start working in my field first. I'm in civil and have a mechanical type job at the moment.
I remember hearing somewhere that only about 10% of people with an engineering degree end up being a PE.

Thanks for all the comments guys!! I really appreciate it.
It was a lot of work. All I knew is I was going to put everything into studying, because there's no way I want to have to do all that crap again.
I thought about it the other day....getting your license is almost like doing the doctor thing. Four years of school, 1st 8 hr exam, 4 years of work experience, apply to take the 2nd exam, and finally the 2nd 8 hr exam...
It was well worth the time though.

It's not really anything new I learned.....just releaning stuff.
As for immediate benefits, probably not much. But in the long run, or when I change jobs, it should help out in finding work, and in asking for a better salary.

Have you graduated from undergrad yet? Or are you doing graduate work, and working at the same time.
I'd definitely recommend a review course. I'm not sure if I would have passed on the first try if I had not taken the class. That or it would have been A LOT more studying of EVERYTHING...rather then focusing on the key items the class went over.
I've got a buddy that will be taking the civil exam in the fall. I'm not sure which discepline he'll be focusing on.
