Periodic shudder under braking 99 Leg GT wagon

I have a 99 Leg GT wagon.
I have periodic shudder under braking. Does not happen all of the time. (I have had Hawk HPS pads on front for the last year.) I pulled the calipers off and found that one of the slide pins is frozen and WILL NOT move. I suspect I will need a new caliper?? Any ideas where I could get a used set of front calipers that would be worth rebuilding to replace the bad with. Any other ideas on solving this problem? I looked at OEM replacements and it looks like they are $175 each.

calipers can be rebuilt pretty cheaply.
the shudder is from warped rotors due to insufficient contact pressure from the caliper with the jammed slide pin.

The rotor's not "warped", it has DTV (disc thickness variations)

If you do not use a high quality grease, and/or don't routinely check/clean/regrease the sliders, they will seize.
Where do you feel most of the shudder from, the brake pedal or steering wheel?

Same issue here, but more so at high speed, felt thru the steering. I have new SS caliper in front installed last year, i suspect a loose tie rod assembly, could i be wrong?

Steering wheel. I dont think its the rotor warped because it is periodic. If the rotor was warped would it not be all of the time?

Does the shudder get worse when you drive for a while, or harder on the brakes?
It's probably pad material unevenly deposited on the rotor. When temps increase the pad material will become more "grippy" and give you the shudder you're experiencing.

It is most noticable when I am doing 50-60mph or so and brake mildly. It is felt through the steering wheel. When I get on the brakes harder it seems to be less. I dont notice as much when going slow. e.g. 20-30mph

I am starting to think I may have the same. What is the best way to check the loose tie rod assembly?
I will still need to fix the seized slide pin, however to do that I need the caliper bracket rather than the caliper. Are these interchangable across models and years? I have a 99 Legacy GT wagon.
