My Legacy For Sale

This is finally it.

Something fell into my lap that I am seriously entertaining, and my car has got to go.

It'll be complete.

1994 Legacy Sport Sedan. Aegean Blue Metallic, 5-speed.

Mods:

TD05-16g ported by Possum Bourne
TurboXS FMIC
TurboXS BOV
Custom Throttle Body
GTSpec Clone Header (unequal length)
C.E.S. racing exhaust. 3" mandrel bent, divorced wastegate downpipe (ceramic coated!). There's one 3" straight through resonator and a 3" straight through axleback, both silencers made by Supercat. It's easily the best sounding exhaust system on the market.
KYB AGX struts with SPT Pink Springs (Less than 1000 miles on them)
Noltec Camber/Caster plates up front
Camber bolts in front and rear (should be good for -2.4 in the front and -1.5 in the rear max)
Front and rear strut tower braces
VRG3 FCD
Custom short throw shifter
TurboXS Dogbox
RS Interior (Front and rear seats, eliminating the pass-through. I'll include the stock rear seat too)
Walbro 255lph Fuel Pump
WRX Brakes with Racing Brake front rotors, Bradi rear rotors, Hawk HPS+ front pads, SBS GranSport 5 rear pads, Stainless Steel front lines, and a BF Brake Bias Valve
Stock WRX wheels with RE92's on them
Stock Legacy hood with a Carbon Fiber WRX hood scoop
Exedy Stage 1 Organic clutch with an Exedy Lightweight Flywheel.
WRX Metal Coolant Overflow tank, custom mounted.
Optima YellowTop, mounted in the trunk.

I think that's about all the mods. With a cat, a SAAB top mount, an exhaust leak and a few other minor things that are now fixed, the car made 214whp and 251lb-ft at 16psi. Butt-dyno and experience tells me it's making closer to 240whp and 270lb-ft now. All maintainence was religiously performed on the car. Timing belt 20k ago, brake fluid flushed every 5 k, oil every 3k. The only cosmetic problems are some paint chips on the spoiler, and some rust on the fenders and passenger side wheel well. Nothing too attrocious. The car is complete minus shift knob and shift boot. The car has been great as it is, and it should be great for you too! Or this could be the perfect project car for you to finish!

I also have a 1991 Turbo Legacy shell to go with the car. It's missing the engine and rear diff as well as the rear struts and rear brakes and some misc trim pieces and nuts and bolts here and there. It's body is in pretty good shape, but the sunroof is cracked. Good radiator and all that jazz though. Tranny is blown, but from the sounds of it, it should be repairable. You could also get a good core charge out of it at the junkyard.

For both Legacys plus whatever misc parts are lying around, I'd like to get around $8700 OBO.

A new opportunity has come around for me and I'm interested in experiencing that path.

Cheers!
Phil

Front bumper included? :P

Nice car man, but way out of my price range. The tranny in that car is worth 7k alone, so it's a steal.

It's only worth what people will pay and most people here are poor. I hope you're listing elsewhere, too, Phil.

What are you moving to?

I will list it elsewhere.

My new project should be pretty exciting. I'll keep you guys posted as it develops, make no doubt about it.

I am pulling away from the full on drag-car setup I think. Fun while it lasted, but I am aiming for a different goal this time.

85 Views and no interest? Dang :(

If this car doesn't sell, I don't get to take on my new project!

It should be the ultimate sleeper and daily driver, and yes it's still a subaru.

Is what a Legacy GT? My new project? No. Better. Buy my car and I'll leak the project.

So something "fell into your lap"? Was it a face? Or maybe a supercharged 3.3?

I'd like to bump this up. If I don't get any hits, ebay or craigslist it goes.

It stinks that you are getting rid of it, but this new project sounds intriguing, sp?, so I say go for it even tho there will be one less abm on the board.

I would never be able to deal with parting out the car. I'd like to sell it complete.

Oh no Phil, so sad!

Well, I just went and posted a for sale thread for one of my babies too.

If I had to take a random guess, I bet your new project has a chassis in common with the car I'm about to sell.
