Car runs great on 3 cylinders? WTF?!?!

OK, long story short if I pull off each plug wire at the coil (one at a time), #1, #3, #4, all cause the engine to run bad. I plug them back in and engine runs fine. I pull #2 and nothing happens. There is spark coming out of the coil pack, if I pull the plugwire off the spark plug you can hear spark. But no difference in idle.
If you pull the fuel injector wire off and drive, it drives like shit.
If you pull the fuel injector wire off and rev it to 3500 and then stick it back on at 3500, you can "kinda" hear a difference.
I tried a different coil pack, same stuff.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Try switching the plug wires around to see if the problem follows the wire(Bad wire)

And the answer is........
bad fuel injector. don't know if it is broke, plugged or what, but I swapped in my 370 cc injectors and rails and an finally happy again. Bleah... what a day.

FYI I drove 300 miles on just 2 cylinders. It even idled and it even got up to highway speeds, but both only barely.

Wiring on my #3 injector went bad on the first wagon. Replaced the wire and plug and it was mint.

I know of an old Ej18-T that ran on 2 cylinders for close to 3 months. It was the owner's drag car and daily driver. He needed it for work and didn't have time to go find a junkyard Ej18 so he just kept driving it since it drove home from the track the night he popped it...

Cured.
Crushed O-ring. Was leaking fuel under pressure. No wonder I was running RICH!!!!!
I installed the injectors in a stock fuel line setup, took a spare fuel pump and dumped it into a bucket of alchohol, and pressurized it.
Bingo!
Then I ran all 4 injectors for 15 seconds each twice. All flowed basically the same.
I swapped the rails and injectors out and 35 minutes later the wagon runs fine.
I then installed the 370 injectors and rails into my test jig and they sprayed 22% or so less than the 430....

How did the car run? How did you know it was having a problem? Was it sputtering at all?

With the leaking O-ring, car ran like absolute shit. It leaked so bad that you could pull the plug wire off at idle and it never changed its tune, ie so rich it killed the plug.
It ran so rich that at cruising speed 60 ish in fifth it would be 12-1 AFR.
Start up was a bitch......
Now?
FAST AS SHIT!!!! LOW Low lOW LOW AFR when I want them.
I am a happy clam!
