Why the hell not just use the LS1? Would be real easy to adapt too as small block GM V8s are a marine mainstay. Still, with the problems my brother-in-law's having with his new Larson, I've been thinking about a Subaru-powered boat. Of course, that's nothing new - there's one in my third novel.

Ask someone who put one in a Vanagon, that's sort of a land barge. :)

Has anyone dome a subaru powered motorcycle yet? How about a ej22t go-kart? I might do that if I don't do my Hayabusa go-kart, though the transmission issue would be a real pain.
