PICS!!!! 4EAT to 5MT Swap Electrical Questions!!!!!!!!

Hello to all !!!! Help me out!!! this is an email to josh, and i wanted other opinions of all... let me know what you think!!!

ok so looking back through the wiring and such.... i found the plug you used thats BLUE on the custom harness you made (bottom right of your pigtails picture)... it had a YELLOW Relay plugged into it right? as far as i can tell, and from reading the electrical schmatic, the way you have it wired leaves the coil in the relay hotwired/bypassed, (two blues taped together coming from the blue plug) ... so is the relay left out (in the wiring), but still physically plugged in???? and if so what does that accomplish???

heres the pedal box as i've labeled....

The brake plug is still in the touring wagon and is IDENTICAL to the manual donar plug...

Question 1) Can I just plug the auto's dangling brake plug into the MT pedal box BRAKE recieving end and be cool?

Question 2) Is Clutch B not used at all?? if so where does it go? because on the plugs from the donar car, it's connected to the brake plug (i assume it's this way for the cruise control, incase you hit the clutch pedal it would kill the cruise, as well as hitting the brake pedal)

Question 3) YELLOW RELAY. Plug it in?? Don't plug it in????

Question 4) What is the 4th wire that is cut to make the relay inline with it? what is that 4th plug? is it switched power for the starter?

heres your wiring harness with my labels.

Thanks for your help!!!!
Luigi

EDIT: ((( i just realized this should probably be in electrical. I figured it was for the swap, so i posted in the drivetrain. My mistake)))

the reason for the clutch plugs is it make it so you have to push in the clutch to start the car. myself personally didnt bother with it and if i remember right i believe i didnt have to mess with the brake wiring and just plugged it right in

cool the brake seems straight forward, and i understand why i need to wire it the way it needs to be wired.... to push in the clutch...

i just need to know how its wired...

the clutch switch is the trigger lead of the starter relay or something to that effect.
the brake switch is a straight swap iirc but since it is 2 wires it shouldnt really matter if you do have to swap plugs.
as far as hitting the clutch with cruise on, dont do it unless you slam to the floor to hit the switch. I did it once and it went to redline before I tapped the brake, and from what I hear there is no rev limiter in neutral on these cars which I cannot really confirm or deny as I am not about to try it.

Pretty much yes.

I see it as a waste of time to hook up the starter interlock.

Just to rehash.

Brake plug....just plug it in, it's a direct swap.

Clutch B is tied into the cruise control. Clutch A ties into the starter interlock circuit.

Yes, the relay must get plugged in, or the wiring you just did is all useless ;)

I'm not following your last question regarding the 4th wire? What wire are you talking about? have you looked at the wiring diagrams?
