Simple question-

Does the bypass vave in my legacy turbo bolt up the same way (same flange) as a current WRX? Basically, can i use a bypass valve made for a WRX on my car.

Thanks for your help!

PS- Tried the search button. Couldnt find the answer.

If your talking about the stock legacy BPV, no they use entirely different mounting methods. The stock BPV has 2 3/4" nipples coming off it, and is mounted under the charge line. There is no intercooler to use a flange to mount to. If you have a WRX intercooler you would have to make an adaptor plate to get the 3/4" nipple or use a WRX BPV. I dont think the WRX BPV on the intercooler will work on our legacys though due to throttle cable possition.

Here is a picture of my current setup. Im using a simple flange adaptor to the 3/4" line to the stock legacy BPV you can see in the middle just below the throttle cables. Also notice the clearance of that bracket and how a WRX BPV would prolly hit. Hope that helps
