Is anyone here from Memphis? I was just wondering what you thought of the city and area.

I lived there for seven months. I didn't really care for it, but that was me.

It was hard to meet people my age that weren't married or had kids. I'm sure if I went to church, I would've met some more people, since there were churches everywhere.

The nickname "grown up country town" does fit for the city. The city itself isn't too big. The east side of town is where I stayed.

I guess if you have any specific questions, just holler.

I grew up there. I don't miss the dirtiness, the smell, or the way the heat radiates off of all the asphalt and concrete in the summer. It pretty much sucks in my opinion.
