Rallysam gets married

For those that know me, I thought I'd share. It was a nice ceremony, although I thought I was going to keel over from wearing a tuxedo in the heat and humidity!

People cracked up when they heard the vows we wrote. Here's one:
Melissa: "I promise to put up with a life of riding in dirty old rally cars"
Sam: "I promise to not remove the air conditioner to make the car faster"

It was an awesome party afterwords. We had a 10 course Chinese feast, followed by a packed dance floor to the sound of funk and old school hip hop, followed by an after party until last call. Good times with friends and family. My coworkers pulled a prank and ordered special fortune cookies, which they passed out to all the guests. One of the fortunes was:
"Sam, I see a turbo, all-wheel-drive minivan in your future"

Congratulations Sam! That's awesome.

If she was cool with the special vows then I think you found something to hold onto :).

 Great vows.

At a friend's wedding they broke one of those cone taillights from a Chevy instead of a glass.

Congrats Sam!

The vows sounded great, and yeah if she'll put up with riding in dirty rally cars, you found a keeper.

Congratulations buddy! When do you cross the pond?

Did Deb's brother ever get back to you? I gave him your e-mail.

Hey Phil!

We move to London in mid September. I dropped off the face of the planet there for a little bit, but with the wedding out of the way, we have free time again until the move.

Nope, never heard from Deb's brother. We already got accomodation, visas, and Melissa's work permit taken care of, so we don't need help with that. All that's left is to find Melissa a job, if he has any leads with that. Is he still over there? If so, then we can meet him for a pint in a couple months.

If you're interested, I might start taking dibs for:
* European market parts
* Free floor space for crashing in an expensive city
* carpool to WRC events or ProDrive factory tours

Holy crap! I'll probably be hitting you up for a place to crash in two years when I head to Hampshire to buy a Racing Green TVR Sagaris. :)
