Got a link showing how you painted those calpers? Look great! What did you use, what were the steps to prep? If you already wrote up, please send me the link! Cheers, have fun on the trail!

The Thule rack fits to the upper side gutter trim thing and can take a lot more weight than the frail OEM set up.
I took the original rack off to use the detachable Thule.
This carries the 18-foot vintage wood canvas canoe( weight 95 # dry)
plus the 14-foot white water playboat( 70 +) over rough roads.
At 58 inches, the bars are a lot wider.
However, the tower clamps will mar the finish of that rail thing.

I would probably be able to do pretty good in 18-27 novice or whatever it is here but Im real outa shape.
Im only guessing as to 35lbs, probably a bit lighter. its a 2002 dirt bike classic, the one with the head tube gusset, seat stay brakes and small dropouts.
chrome pitchforks (

)
hazard lites 48hx14mm
animal tires
slam bars
profile race cranks 175mm
macneil 39t gaurd sprocket x 13t odysey freewheel
cielinki pedals
no pegs right now
needs a gyro and a compact drive setup.
