WRX spring question

What do these dots on these springs mean? Pink, yellow, and green on left two and two yellow and one orange on right two. Just curious.

This thread on NASIOC has some extensive spring info, including the paint dot codes and part numbers. I see info for JDM versions, so I don't know if the paint codes for USDM springs are in the thread somewhere, but you'll get a general idea of what to look for.
