we should set up a race every week.
a new track will be picked on say monday and by sunday every one would have to post a picture of there fastist lap time.
who ever wins one week could pick the track for the next week.
we could make it all subarus or like only fwd, rwd, turbo, n/a cars a week or ever just open.
i dont know it would be some thing fun to kill some free time.

I have gt3 but have to admit im more than a little rusty.

gt3 has a lot of the same tracks at gt4 right?
so it still would be about the same for lap times

Dunno anything about GT4 but if gt3 and gt2 are any presidence they should have at least similar tracks. I know Trial mountain is the same in all 3.

I have GT1, GT2, GT3 and GT4.

We already had a thread started where we had a challange (track and certain car) that we would run and post up our times. It didn't last long though.

It was too long of a track and too hard to learn (Nurbergebergrining). Too hard to spell, too. I didn't have the time to try and get the whole track down.

I know the Nurburgring almost by heart now.

We all took each other's word, but I think a screenshot of your lap time would be better.

I'm totally up for doing it again... I just have to finish the 1000 miles tournament . Only done 2 of the races, still trying to find the time to do the next two...

Oh, and please don't make me play 3 again. It's collecting dust on my TV stand, and that's just where I want it.

after i got 4 i tryed 3 again
there is just no compairing
if i can remeber corectly my fastist on the nurburgring was 6 mins 56 seconds

i didint know you guys tryed this before but i think if we had it pretty organised and you had to post a picture of your fastist time it would work good.

Unlimited mod class - any Legacy you can buy in the Subaru Showroom.

Stock class - absolutely no mods, but you can fiddle with any provided settings. Once again any Legacy you can buy in the Subaru Showroom.

uhhh...nevermind, my fastest is like 1:04 in reverse. We should totally start up a little competition though, that would be fun!

Any subaru is too vague, how about the 22B, you can get that on GT3, I'd assume you can get it on GT4 to. And maybe limit the mods to these:

Semi-Racing Suspension
Sport Brakes
Full Exhaust
Racing Chip
Medium Race Tires
Lightened driveshaft

Eh? This way the playing field is even, or if you just want to go for the fastest time we could go with any subie with any level of tuning. Whats the consensus eh?

My PS2 and GT1/2/3/4 are in a box in my moving truck somewheres

I think this will be different between GT3 and 4. 4 has much better suspension modeling, so times will probably vary.

Let's use Imprezive's 22b spec until the winner decides the next car/parts/track.

I have GT3, here are my times win the 22B with mods I listed earlier.

this was my fastist lap with the 22b and your settings

1:30.159 Trial Mountain - Every drop in lap time was mostly due to a certain adjustment I was making on the car. Now if I could get one clean lap in... that time might drop by 2 seconds again.

Slight problem with using the 22B... It cannot be bought in the dealership in GT4. I happened to find it in one of the used car garages. In fact there are no cars that can be cross bought in GT3 and GT4 dealerships. GT3 = bugeyes and GT4 = blobeyes. If we want to race the same car it will have to be a Ver. 3-6 STi or something. Those are very common in the used car garages.
