Version V steering wheel on a '91 SS

I recently purchased a Version V Impreza wheel and would like to put it on my '91 SS. It came with the steering column and wiper/light stalks. Has anyone been sucessful in making this swap.
I don't mind using the JDM stalks, think I might have to if I want the turn signal switch to work (automatically turn off signals after a turn). To do that I'll have to wire JDM stalks into the USDM wiring which is NOT plug and play.
I should be able to ohm out all switches and match it up with the USDM wiring but, any incoming voltage to the stalks I might have a problem with figuring out where it goes. Any help is appreciated (good advice, links to JDM wiring diagrams, etc...). I'll be checking NABISCO later today.
