Ran 12 psi boost and 50 shot of nitrous. First run went swell. Second run....Well, did a 13.7 @ 100 but detonated and now the wagon smokes pretty good under boost.

But it may not (yeah, right) be a ringland, but instead I am pretty damn sure I blew out the rear main seal. There is alot of oil IN the area you can see from the top. And oil EVERYWHERE on top of the passenger side axel.

Off boost I don't smoke much, on boost I smoke more. But I don't know if its coming out of the tailpipe, or burning off the exhaust, or both. At a standstill I can rev the motor hard and no smoke comes out the tailpipe, but then the exhaust starts to smoke pretty good.

Oh well, time to finally pull the motor out and swap those DOHC heads on! I'll just go ahead and still turbo pistons in finally as well.

Finally had a chance to get on boost and see how bad I am smoking.

:(

Yeah, ringland somewhere is in serious need of replacement. The only good thing is that if I keep the supercharger off, you would never know I broke anything. So I will be able to drive it until I am ready to rebuild it once again. Too bad WCSS8 is in a week, I would like to have it built by then. Aint gonna happen.

If it was the rear main, you'd notice your clutch slipping like CRAZY.

Clutch did slip on the nitrous runs in third gear, but a weird type of slip. Not like the clutch was "slipping", but a slip grab slip grab slip grab.

You can see oil when you look down into the flywheel area.

Ahh, then yea your right, its most likely the rear main blown out.

Pretty much has to be a ring land if you blew the rear main.

You're probably blowing oil out of everything.
